Remedy Diagnostics
Remedy Diagnostics provide a prestructured set of procedures and tests to validate the storage, peripherals and connectivity of the system under test.
Remedy Diagnostics are intended to be used to test beyond basic MCU operation as Power On Self Test (POST) does and provide complete peripheral testing and connectivity testing. It is intended to augment POST rather than replace POST.
Remedy Diagnostics provide the ability to test various I/O connections by providing local loopback as well as remote loopback options along with diagnostic programs. By entering a diagnostics mode, the Remedy Diagnositics ensure that links work correctly allowing for field testing modes and eliminating costly field service.
Remedy Diagnostics also provide the ability to test file systems and along with POsix SHell (POSH) provides the ability to examine file contents and display system files.
Remedy Diagnostics include the datalogger capabilities which support event tracing and logging in the deployed target system. Using these advanced techniques, dynamic tracing and diagnosis of remote devices is supported further reducing field service costs.
