Graphics

Graphics support is critical to many applications. RoweBots offers a graphics package called Remedy GraphXgen which provides a comprehensive feature set along with automatic graphics code generation for color touch panels and other graphics interfaces.
 
Remedy GraphicsXgen is an embedded graphics toolkit designed to provide an efficient, advanced and dynamic graphical user interface (GUI) for any application that operates with a graphical LCD. GraphicsXgen is used for developing applications using: 

  • high color depth applications
  • which may require multiple canvases,
  • integrated alpha blending,
  • multilingual support,
  • and animation support.

Remedy GraphXgen screen design application is used for code generation.  The underlying libraries which are used come from a variety of sources including reuse of semiconductor vendor libraries.  By taking this approach, the simpler and less expensive graphics applications may be implemented at lower cost.  The ideal scenario is to automatically generate the screen design to accelerate development and even choose the best color palete for your application.  Remedy GraphicsXgen makes changes simpler and with the capability to use various libraries sofware result can be maximized. 
 
 
Even without Remedy GraphXgen, other standard semiconductor graphics libraries are integrated and ready to use.  Although this approach lacks some advanced features, for many screen designs this is more than adequate.  Generally, vendor libraries work at the full 32 bit color depth though and this creates tradeoffs in terms of hardware cost at some times.
